Yogi Adityanath Has no Thought About History,’ Says Owaisi For His Remark on Indian Market
‘Yogi Adityanath once again proved he does not have any understanding about anything. He’s just lucky to become the principal minister of a few of the biggest states of India,’ Owaisi was quoted as saying from ANI.
The statement from the Muslim pioneer comes following Adityanath said during an event that in the time of the Mughals and Britishers the Indian economy had begun moving down.
While talking at the inaugural session of the World Hindu Economic Forum-2019 at Mumbai on Friday, Adityanath said that before the Mughal era, India’s involvement in world trade was over a third, in other words, about 36 per cent. ‘Then it decreased to 20 percent by the time the British arrived in India,”’ he explained.
He explained at the time of liberty, some economists had commented and described the minimal growth rate as the Hindu growth rate. But there have been several developments in India under the Modi government,’ he explained.
Saying that Adityanath was incorrect in his opinions, Owaisi said India’s contribution to the entire world GDP instead was around 25 percent during the old age.
